Birds in Washinton State: a county comparison
This spreadsheet, created using the county checklist abundance codes, provides a quick county-by-county comparison of species in Washington. We chose to divide the counties into 2 areas - Eastern and Western Washington.
A key to county checklist abundance codes follows:
- 1 = Common
- 2 = Uncommon
- 3 = Usually seen every year
- 4 = Rare
- 5 = Less than 5 records
- ext = Extirpated
- hyp = Hypothetical
- int = Introduced
Birds in Washington State: a county comparison spreadsheet is updated on a regular basis to add newly documented species, and to modify abundance codes so they more accurately reflect the current abundance status of species in each county.
